David’s career for the past 15 years, can be summarized into two words: agribusiness development.

With a cumulative experience stemming from private sector, government and international development, David founded Perfometer and built a specialization in Dairy Production investments. He is a hobby writer and entrepreneur.

David is also an adjunct faculty for the dairy programs at the Strathmore University Business School(SUBS).

Silas MaosaX

Commercial Projects Manager

Silas is the team leader of the Commercial Services Division, where he leads teams in delivering dairy advisory services. His role is multifaceted, and he also serves as the project lead, coordinating various projects and partnerships. He joined the organization in 2018 and has since been instrumental in coordinating several client assignments in dairy Advisory.


One of Silas's significant responsibilities is overseeing the CashCow initiative, which is a dairy sector project aimed at enhancing the profitability and productivity of dairy farmers in Kenya through fodder commercialization within the next 5 years. Under his guidance, engagement discussions with finance partners have taken place, resulting in the development of finance products that will be positioned to improve credit access for dairy farmers in Kenya. Additionally, he has played a pivotal role in coordinating the development of our in-house agritech products (CashCow, Cowpro and DFB) aligning technology with agricultural practices to enhance productivity and efficiency


Silas's educational background is in finance and accounting, with a Bachelor of Commerce (B. Com) degree from the University of Nairobi and an MBA in strategic management from JKUAT. He is also a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK)


Before joining Perfometer, Silas gained experience in various sectors, including Hospitality, Manufacturing, and Oil and Gas. These experiences have contributed to his well-rounded management and leadership skills, which have proven vital in overseeing his current roles and responsibilities.

Dolly WawiraX

Unit Head, Operations & Administration

Dolly leads the overall financial planning and projects administration at Perfometer. She previously worked as a banker for six years and later as an operations manager in the logistics sector. With an undergraduate degree in accounting and a professional qualification in CPA, coupled with fourteen years of work experience, she ably supports the advisory team with all the projects administrative and budgetary functions.

Zippy KeramaX

Advisor, Agri-Financials

Zippy is a professional in finance and Accounts. In the context of agribusiness, she applies her expertise at Perfometer by championing advisory to dairy investors on records management (for existing dairy farms) and feasibility testing for startup dairy investments.


She also heads the Dairy Farm Accounts Department and is in charge of financial reporting for a European Union project in partnership with Technical Centre Agricultural and Rural Cooperation (CTA), and also a trainer at the Academy of Dairy Manager


She holds bachelors degree in Business Management and is a CPA (K).

Emma WangariX

Architect, Cow Barns Design

At Perfometer, Emma plays a combined role of a trainer and a technical designer for Cow barns and supporting structures (bunkers).

She is an approved trainer at the Academy of Dairy Managers. When not training, Emma enjoys writing; and is a listed contributor to the Dairy World magazine on matters Cow Comfort. Based on her training in architecture, she supports dairy investors with architectural master plans.

Angela GitauX

Dairy Husbandry & Nutrition Expert

Angela Gitau leads the Total Dairy Management unit of Perfometer as the Advisor In charge of Dairy Husbandry, with a specialization in Dairy Herd Nutrition. Before joining Perfometer in 2013, she worked briefly with, then a Dutch International Feed Laboratory (2012) in an assignment that profiled nutrition of various feed samples, both Fodder and Concentrates


At Perfometer, she coordinated the Medium Scale Dairy Farmers Study groups in 10 counties, represented Perfometer in hosting over 10 incoming missions from the Senior Expert Program (PUM) a program that she is involved to date. In the last three years, Angela has been championing the leading Dairy Farm Performance Assessment Product (Dairy Farm Benchmark) which has reached over 50 farms with at least 50 dairy animals and above. From the year 2018, Angela was seconded to the team of consultants who are working on contextualizing Rumen 8, a feed ration software of Australian Origin, and piloting it in at least 15 farms with herd of at least 50 dairy animals and above.


While at Perfometer she has offered advisory services to over 100 medium scale dairy farms and to dairy development projects namely: Kenya Market-led Program of SNV Netherlands Development, The Extension and Fodder Program of the Eastern Africa Dairy Development Program, the HIVOS-Sustainable Management Services Dairy Project and the SFOAP Program of the Eastern Africa Farmers Federation and Cooperative Alliance of Kenya.


Angela holds a Bachelors’ Degree in Animal Production from Egerton University (2008-2012), and has an applied training in Total Dairy Management from the Netherlands (2016) through the Netherlands Senior Expert Program (PUM).

Diana Ann plays a crucial role as the Administrator at Perfometer. With her exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, she keeps the operations running smoothly and efficiently. Her friendly demeanor and willingness to help others make her a valued team member.


As the central point of contact for both internal staff and external partners, Diana ensures that all administrative tasks are handled promptly and professionally. From managing schedules and coordinating meetings to handling correspondence and maintaining records, she is the backbone of the organization.


With her strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities, Diana can handle various challenges that arise in the day-to-day operations. She is resourceful and always ready to find solutions that contribute to the overall success of Perfometer.
